  21. Anyone have any clues why I'm having this problem with xsend?

  23. I'm trying to use kermit-95 for OS2 as a transfer utility between my
  24. desktop and notebook, both OS2 warp v. 4 machines.  I'm trying to
  25. synchronize directories, following the advice in the readme that came with
  26. readme, and the comments in the xsend.cmd file.

  28. What happens is this:

  30. xsend works as it is supposed to for the first few directories,
  31. transfering files and creating subdirectories as needed.  But then, after
  32. going through about 6 or so subdirectories of the tree I'm trying to
  33. transfer, it keeps creating directories as needed on the notebook but
  34. getting stuck in this one (always the same) directory on the desktop.  So
  35. once it gets stuck like that it starts creating all these directories on
  36. the notebook but copying into them the same files, from the same wrong
  37. directory on the desktop.

  39. E.G. it will copy 
  40.  
  41.  desktop/subdira -> notebook/subdira
  42.  desktop/subdirb -> notebook/subdirb
  43.  desktop/subdirc -> notebook/subdirc
  44.  desktop/subdird -> notebook/subdird
  45.  desktop/subdird -> notebook/subdire
  46.  desktop/subdird -> notebook/subdirf
  47.  
  48.  and so on until I escape out.

  50. I've tried changing the file type from labeled to binary, but that didn't
  51. help.

  53. I tried using the xsend32.com that came with kermit-95 but couldn't figure
  54. it out. the xsend32.txt referred to in the documentation was not on my
  55. disks.

  57. Any help would of course be greatly appreciated.
